Patrick Sharpe is a criminal defense and general litigation attorney based in Columbia, SC. Attorney Sharpe was born and raised in Columbia, attending school locally and earning his Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from the University of South Carolina. While working towards his undergraduate degree, Pat found his love of service through the law. He spent time working for the Richard A. Harpootlian Law Firm where he was able to work and help those in need. Following graduation, attorney Sharpe received his Juris Doctorate from the Charleston School of Law. While attending law school he had the opportunity to work as a law clerk for several top local attorneys.

Began his professional legal career in the Richland County Public Defender’s office, where he handled hundreds of cases before moving on to prosecution. After spending some time prosecuting DUIs, attorney Sharpe felt the need to get back to his roots of helping those in need. This helped spur the creation of The Law Office of Patrick Sharpe. Today, he fights to defend his clients’ rights in both criminal and civil court. His experience working as a public defender and prosecutor has given him deep insights into litigation.
